Biography

Geneviève Pelletier, full professor, obtained her bachelor's degree in agricultural engineering from McGill University, her master's degree in civil engineering from the University of Ottawa and her doctorate in water sciences from INRS. Before taking up her position at Université Laval in July 2005, she worked for 6 years as a consulting engineer in urban hydrology in Quebec City. She specializes in urban hydraulics and develops methodologies and tools to improve water quality and integrate intelligence (e.g. real-time control) into drinking water distribution systems with Prof. Manuel Rodriguez of Université Laval's Chaire de recherche en eau potable and with her stormwater management research group with Prof. Sophie Duchesne of INRS and Guillaume Grégoire of Université Laval.
